Job description

Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking a Sales Account Representative to join them in Cullinan, Gauteng. The successful candidate will support the company's Sales Manager: Key Accounts with the growth and management of key account clients, aligning with company strategy and targets. The role involves driving category growth and expansion by integrating strategic initiatives with value chain operations and product development.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Drive change and improvement with customers to deliver category growth through consumer insights, relevant innovation, and category management.
  • Achieve volume and margin targets in line with forecasts and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team on NPD to identify opportunities for sustainable volume growth and add value to slow-moving products.
  • Contribute to client category growth through innovative practices.
  • Gain insight into retail sales rates to optimize sales volume and product range.
  • Track orders and procurement data.
  • Ensure optimal Service Levels are maintained.
  • Address queries and complaints to satisfy clients.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • BCom degree or equivalent.
  • At least 12 years of sales experience in an FMCG environment.
