Job description

Market and sell all the company products and services to new clients, cross-sell and upsell to existing clients to achieve sales and service targets. Maintain excellent customer relationships through effective service delivery; assist with daily tasks to retain and grow the portfolios. Resolve client queries escalated within a reasonable timeframe and identify leads for Sector Heads.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, and KNOWLEDGE:

  • 3-year Degree / Diploma / Higher Diploma in Sales / Marketing / Retail Management - Non Negotiable
  • At least 3 years experience in a sales/business development role, preferably in Information Services / Warehousing / Logistics or similar environment (e.g., Office Automation)
  • Postgraduate qualification in business administration
  • Account management experience in document management and archival-related industries preferred
  • Team player and willing to travel between sites/clients

B2B experience;

  • Proven track record in delivering high-level sales presentations
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide tailored solutions based on an understanding of client needs related to services provided
  • Maintain regular engagement with clients to foster good relationships
  • Act as the primary contact for:

Negotiating prices within the Authority Framework

  • Providing customized solutions
  • Resolving problems/issues

Stay informed of market and competitor trends and update the Sales Manager / Sector Head accordingly. Maintain a current database of clients in your portfolio. Keep abreast of legislative requirements related to document and records management. Ensure proper classification and documentation of client information, including informing clients of past due dates. Develop account plans with the Sales Manager / Sector Head to leverage opportunities and ensure customer retention. Submit weekly sales and service statistics. Ensure service offerings meet customer needs and identify leads within portfolios. Resolve escalated enquiries or issues promptly and communicate concerns to relevant personnel. Ensure client portfolios are well serviced and data integrity maintained. Assist in preparing and presenting business proposals. Collaborate closely with Sector Heads to capitalize on opportunities. Report on issues, concerns, and complaints related to your portfolio.
