Job Description

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • FSCA Approved Qualification
  • FAIS Compliant
  • Product category experience (Long term Insurance subcategory B1, B2, and Retail pension benefit)
  • CPD – Continuous Professional Development – All cycles
  • COB – Class of Business
  • A valid Driver’s license and your own car

Provides advice on a specific range of products to a designated market and is accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

Responsibilities

  1. Customer Service: Provide quality service, identify opportunities for new business or retention, process cases, handle complex queries, and resolve customer problems.
  2. Solutions Analysis: Analyze problems to find the best solutions, technical or professional.
  3. Receiving Visitors: Welcome visitors, assist with requests, and refer complex matters to colleagues.
  4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Schedule follow-ups, enter information into CRM for effective retention and business development.
  5. Customer Needs Clarification: Set objectives, tailor presentations, ask relevant questions to evaluate interest, and identify areas for further information.
  6. Customer Relationship Development/Prospecting: Develop plans to build relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  7. Operational Compliance: Understand policies, procedures, and regulations; obtain necessary authorizations.
  8. Business Development: Monitor sales data, identify market opportunities.
  9. Sales Opportunities Creation: Network, represent the organization, gather market intelligence.
  10. Data Exploration: Conduct research using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
  11. Network of Influence: Participate in networks inside and outside the company.
