Job summary

Discovery Limited in Sandton is seeking a salaried Financial Advisor to review policy and benefit needs, advise on products, and service existing portfolios for clients.

This non-commissionable role requires a wealth management qualification with at least 120 credits and a minimum of two years’ experience. You will conduct needs analyses, prepare proposals, and keep clients informed about product changes, while upholding service excellence.

Qualifications

• Wealth management qualification with at least 120 credits.
• At a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Financial Advisor.
• Understanding of Financial Planning and Knowledge of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial goals from risk protection to wealth creation.
• Perform a financial needs analysis and prepare proposals to meet client requirements.
• Provide clients with information on new and existing products, benefits and services.
• Assist clients in making informed decisions and reviewing changing needs.
• Contact clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation.
• Review client policies regularly to determine adjustments needed.
