Qualifications

• Currently completing or nearing completion of SAIPA Articles.
• Relevant Accounting Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in accounting or auditing firm.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with the preparation of financial statements.
• Tax and compliance knowledge advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Performing accounting and financial reporting duties for a portfolio of clients.
• Completing reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Assisting with tax and compliance-related matters.
• Performing analytical reviews and investigating variances.
• Assisting with audit and assurance-related assignments where required.
• Preparing working papers and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
• Liaising with clients regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Providing general accounting support to senior team members.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
