You will assist with annual financial statements, bookkeeping, tax calculations, SARS submissions, and monthly management reporting, gaining exposure to diverse clients and tasks.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting or a relevant accounting qualification.
• Intention to pursue or currently pursuing the SAIPA training route.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Perform bookkeeping and monthly accounting functions.
• Assist with tax calculations, tax returns and SARS submissions.
• Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Assist with reconciliations and general accounting duties.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Gain exposure to a variety of clients and accounting-related tasks.
