Job description

REQUIREMENT : Bachelors studies completing (end 2024) enrolled for CTA or at an advanced stage of completion of SAICA accredited Bachelor’s studies

Our client is a well-established auditing practice, which is registered with IRBA and SAICA and as a training office for the auditing elective. They have a great team and culture, and give their SAICA trainees a well-rounded and complete training experience to enable their trainees to grow and develop into Chartered Accountants of the future.

The position entails the duties and competencies, as set out in the SAICA Training Regulations including accounting, auditing, taxation and administrative duties.

The successful applicant :

  • Must be proficient in English - read, write and speak and basic Afrikaans
  • Must have the intention to complete the full three-year SAICA Training Contract, or the remainder of the SAICA Training Contract if the trainee is transferring from an out-of-town firm, in order to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (SA)
  • Must have completed a SAICA approved relevant degree from an approved tertiary institution which qualifies the trainee to enter into a SAICA Training Contract
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must have own transport and a valid SA driver’s license
