Overview

SUMMARY : We are seeking an experienced Sage X3 Technical Expert to join our team for a 6–12-month project. This critical role involves leading and supporting the full-cycle implementation, customization, and support of Sage X3 ERP across the entire business — including Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Distribution, and more.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is both technically hands-on and understands financial business processes at a deep level.

Position Info

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration
  • Lead or assist in deploying Sage X3.
  • Configure core modules such as GL, AP, AR, IC, PO, OE, and others.
  • Set up user roles, security protocols, and workflow automations.
• Custom Development & Integration
  • Customize Sage solutions using Sage SDK, VBScript, .NET.
  • Develop reports using Crystal Reports and Sage Intelligence.
  • Integrate Sage X3 with third-party systems (CRM, Payroll, E-commerce) using APIs, ODBC, and middleware.
• Data Migration & Database Management
  • Manage complex data migrations from legacy systems.
  • Optimize and maintain the SQL Server backend.
  • Ensure data integrity, backups, and performance tuning.
• Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide Tier 2 / 3 technical support and issue resolution.
  • Diagnose system bugs, performance issues, and configuration errors.
  • Apply system patches, updates, and module enhancements.
• Documentation & Training
  • Develop technical documentation for customizations and integrations.
  • Support internal IT teams or end-users with training when necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Sage X3 ERP
• Strong hands-on experience with VBScript, .NET, SQL Server, ODBC, Crystal Reports
• Deep understanding of finance, inventory, procurement, distribution, and related workflows
• Experience in system customization, integration, and data migration
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Sage X3 Certification
