We are looking for a hardworking, ambitious, energetic and self-driven Sage X3 developer with a proven track record of experience in developing and implementing Sage X3 ERP solutions. If you have a keen interest in technological advancement, software development and the implementation of software business solutions, this might just be the ideal opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

1. Actively participate as a member of the development team in both core and custom development projects delivered to customers.
2. Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
3. Perform coding according to technical specifications.
4. Investigate, analyze and document reported defects.
5. Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
6. Document the technical solution before, during, and after the delivery of the scope to consultants and customers.
7. Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
8. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined templates.
9. Develop new software and maintain existing legacy software.
10. Provide technical assistance in supporting pre-sales, sales, and professional services departments, including direct customer support.

Project Planning

1. Establish and define the execution plan, priorities, and goals, considering stakeholder inputs and strategic direction.
2. Determine project schedules and delivery dates with the Technical Lead.
3. Manage and monitor timeframes to ensure successful product delivery.

Project Execution and Monitoring

1. Implement agile and scrum methodologies for project management.
2. Manage the project by providing direction, delegating tasks, and monitoring outcomes.
3. Structure the process from requirements analysis to final delivery.
4. Provide feedback on project progress to stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Sage X3 software development.
• Preferably a completed BCom or BSc degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• A results-driven attitude and perseverance under tight deadlines.
• Interest in software and consulting is advantageous.
