Job Description A leading manufacturing company seeks to employ a dynamic and motivated Sage Support Graduate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a BCom degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating excellent academic results (degree is essential). This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both accounting and IT systems, with a focus on providing Sage support. Prior experience is not required.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for Sage software to users across various departments, ensuring smooth and efficient system operations.
Creating new employees on Sage.
Correcting mistakes on the Sage system.
Fixing sales orders.
Requirements:
BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with strong academic performance.
NOT interested in pursuing a CIMA or SAICA qualification.
No prior experience needed in Sage.
Basic knowledge of Accounting principles is essential.
Interest in IT and systems, with a willingness to learn and support Sage software.
Strong strategic thinking abilities and the capability to apply this in a financial context.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to assist users across different regions effectively.
Patient and confident in dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to support the business.
