Job description

Closing date: 8 August 2025

We are looking for a qualified Facilitator to conduct, assess, and moderate the following accredited training programmes: US229998 Fall Arrest Level 1, US229995 Fall Arrest and Rescue, and US229994 Fall Protection Plan Development. The role also includes supporting training development and assisting with equipment maintenance, while staying up to date with industry best practices and safety regulations related to fall protection and working at heights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Planning and preparing for training sessions by preparing training material and ensuring that all the equipment is safe and functional.
  2. Presenting training material at an appropriate level considering the audience's existing skills, knowledge, and potential learning barriers related to language, culture, socio-economic factors, using the most suitable training methods.
  3. Facilitating training in accordance with SAQA/SETA/NOSA requirements and Quality Management Systems.
  4. Moderating and assessing learners according to the SETA/NOSA code of conduct.
  5. Providing confidential assessment feedback to learners following SETA/NOSA Quality Management System standards.
  6. Completing all Portfolios of Evidence as per assessment guides and work instructions, ensuring their security and confidentiality.
  7. Marketing NOSA by responding to client queries and identifying marketing opportunities during training presentations.
  8. Engaging in continuous self-development activities such as seminars and relevant training courses to stay current with NOSA products, safety, health, environment, and ETD best practices.
  9. Ensuring personal responsibility for maintaining current and valid assessor/moderator registrations with relevant SETAs and providing copies to the Training Manager.
  10. Adhering to and conforming with the NOSA Quality Management System.
