Safety Officer

• 6 years experience in construction safety (preferably in fencing or civil works)
• SACPCMP registered safety officer
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Own vehicle, cell phone, and laptop
• Valid driver's license

Duties are, but not limited to:

• Conduct site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Identify hazards and implement risk control measures
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and enforce safety protocols
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
• Prepare safety reports and maintain documentation
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for site workers
• Liaise with management, contractors, and employees on safety matters
