Safety Officer

Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join their operations in Mpumalanga!

Responsibilities:

1. Lead safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance.
2. Promote a strong safety culture by compiling stats and driving awareness.
3. Hold legal appointment under Minerals Act Regs 2.17.1 – 2.17.4.
4. Ensure full MHSA compliance and maintain good standing with authorities.
5. Report incidents, investigate accidents, and update safety procedures regularly.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. National Diploma in Safety Management
3. COMSOC 1 and 2
4. A Valid Trade Certificate or Blasting Certificate
5. 3 years relevant experience in a mining environment
