Safety Officer Normandien Farms (Pty) Ltd, requires the services of a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to be based in Newcastle for a Sawmill and Water Bottling Facility. Duties will include : `Assist in carrying out inspections of the workplace and take necessary action to ensure compliance. `Provide HSE training, awareness and induction on site to staff, contractors and other relevant parties. `Assists in investigating accidents or injuries that occur in the workplace. `Assists in the establishment of workplace safety and health committees. `Assists in carrying out industrial hygiene surveys. `Assists in the preparation of various reports, documents and forms regarding safety.

• Identify hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. `Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements : `Matric / Grade 12
• A relevant Health & Safety qualification (SACPCMP and or HPCSA) would be advantageous
• At least 2-3 years` experience in a safety role `MS Office proficient `Good oral and written communication skills. `Must be able to read , write and communicate in English and Isizulu `Good organizational skills. `Ability to maintain effective work relationships.
