Job description

Our client is seeking a driven and professional safety leader with a passion for proactive safety management and operational excellence. They are looking for a Safety Manager to join their dynamic and company, which operates in complex outdoor and industrial environments, providing services to internationally recognised clients and major private enterprises. Safety is at the heart of everything they do, and they are committed to the highest standards of health and safety—not only for compliance but as a non-negotiable cornerstone of their culture and client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety systems.
  • Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety briefings.
  • Drive a culture of safety awareness and accountability across all levels of operations.
  • Ensure legal compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Report to management and clients on safety performance and improvements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to teams on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

Requirements :

  • A relevant safety qualification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar safety management role in an industrial, operational, or high-risk environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety legislation and systems.
  • Ability to achieve exceptional results in Safety Audits.
  • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between operational sites.
