Summary of Role:
The Financial Modeller will form part of the M&A and Partnerships team, supporting the preparation, building, and optimization of financial models to support commercial functions, including Mainstream’s energy trading and aggregation business. In conjunction with other team members, this role will help support the modelling process from the Mainstream side as it relates to all tariff structuring and pricing, project finance, valuation and M&A activities.
The role will provide first-hand exposure to new and innovative tariff pricing structures and aggregation across a portfolio of generation assets as Mainstream rolls out its aggregation business strategy as well as project finance and M&A activities.
This role would suit an ambitious candidate keen to establish a strong foundation within financial modelling before progressing to take more responsibility for project financing or M&A work and commercial negotiations.
