Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Fleet Delivery Driver for a Rustenburg, North West depot. This role combines on‑the‑road responsibility with administrative tasks and offers career progression within a national transport and logistics firm.

You will operate commercial vehicles, load and unload cargo, plan routes, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to safety policies. A valid Code 10/C1 license with PDP and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial driver.
• Valid SA driver's license Code 10 (C1) or higher with PDP.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Rustenburg roads and North West province.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver goods safely to customers in Rustenburg.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Plan routes to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency.
• Load and unload cargo securely.
• Maintain delivery records and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance.
• Perform administrative tasks at the Rustenburg facility.
