Job description

MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• A proven track record in a production environment with a minimum of 5 years experience in a related Foreman / Supervisory position.
• A Diploma or equivalent; higher education such as an Associates Management, Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Qualified Artisan : Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker
• The ability to read drawings (Mechanical).
• Proven track record of Shop floor experience.
• Knowledge of the OSH Act and experience in the administration of Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
• Knowledge of current labour law and basic I.R. procedures.
• Strong knowledge of quality management.
• Welding experience required.
• Computer literate (particularly Excel) and knowledge of Syspro is a requirement.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills at all levels are essential.
• Must be willing and able to work day and night shift.
• Previous experience of setting of machinery is required, including CNC machines.
• Excellent cutting, drilling, tapping and welding knowledge is required with proven track record.
