Datacentrix Cape Town is seeking a Printer Support Engineer responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to both technical and non-technical end users. The role involves supporting a wide range of printer technologies, primarily HP, ensuring equipment operates optimally. A basic understanding of networking and IP configuration is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining printers.

The support engineer must be proficient with technology and quick to learn new systems. Responsibilities include assisting with installations, maintenance, parts ordering, and configurations. The role requires travel between customer sites and support to other business areas as needed.

1. Matric or Grade 12
2. IT-related tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma)
3. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
5. Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
