Position: Store Manager
Are you a dynamic and passionate individual who will ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and excellent store performance? We are looking for a Store Manager to join our team!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet store sales targets and deliver excellent customer service by planning, organizing, and controlling all store operations according to company standards and procedures.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing, mentoring, and leading staff.
- Interact with sales merchandisers, representatives, and regional managers to evaluate sales strategies and results.
- Enforce and implement AWESOME customer service to provide a WOW experience.
- Attend to each customer's unique shopping needs, always putting the customer first.
- Develop, motivate, and inspire teams enthusiastically.
- Maintain staff performance through recruiting, coaching, counseling, and disciplining; and by planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
- Authorize work schedules, including work, break, and leave times.
- Ensure ongoing staff training and development.
- Schedule and assign employees, following up on work results.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Manage daily store operations to maximize sales while controlling expenses and stock.
- Minimize controllable expenses, costs, shrinkage, damages, and theft.
- Execute plans to achieve sales targets, motivating staff accordingly.
- Keep records of stock and financial transactions.
- Conduct daily floor walks and manage stock replenishments and face-ups.
- Implement and monitor SOPs, maintain merchandise and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with service providers such as security, cleaning, and logistics.
- Ensure timely execution of sales promotions and communicate marketing opportunities.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Matric Certificate.
- Own or reliable transport to work shifts.
- Minimum of 3 years' retail experience, including 2 years in management.
