Road Marker Position - Mossel Bay (Western Cape)

POSITION INFO : Requirements :

• Ability to operate painting equipment and tools.
• Previous experience in road marking or painting is often required.
• Understanding of road marking materials, techniques, and equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to road marking.
• Valid driver’s license to operate vehicles and equipment.

Duties :

• Clean and prepare the surface by removing debris, dirt, and old markings.
• Repair cracks, holes, or other surface imperfections.
• Apply paint or thermoplastic materials using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Use specialized equipment for applying reflective beads or other materials to enhance visibility.
• Perform routine checks and minor repairs on equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to protect oneself and others.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and safety vests.
