To support the Road Logistics organisation in South Africa with accurate, competitive pricing both spot and RFQ/Tender phase in a professional manner and within the set KPI's. Also, support the Road Logistics Network community with pricing.
Your Responsibilities
Preparation and completion of internal and external (customer) quotes within the required KPIs.
Manage & maintain pricing across all platforms. Work closely with Product Manager to ensure that competitive pricing is used to secure key opportunities.
Where necessary and when required, negotiate directly with suppliers for specific enquiries.
Conduct pricing for RFQs and tenders. Work closely with the Trade Lane Managers and Field sales teams.
Correct implementation of new and existing accounts.
Analysis of quotes to clients in order to assist in securing shipments.
Rate negotiation for larger shipments in conjunction with the Route development team.
Accurate ongoing analysis of rates and routing and analysis of route profitability.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree preferred;
2-5 years of experience in the Mining Market in Africa;
2-5 years of experience in Road Logistics and Pricing;
Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills;
Excellent presentation and communication abilities;
Knowledge of freight forwarding operations;
Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural team environment.
