Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Superviser et coordonner les activités quotidiennes des travailleurs de la construction sur le site.
• Exécuter et superviser la préparation de la couche de base G1.
• Interpréter et travailler selon les plans et dessins techniques.

Job description

Minimum Requirements : 2 years of experience in road construction, with strong skills in layer works and kerbing Must know how to use and read a dumpy level Proven experience as a foreman or site supervisor in roadworks Ability to manage and lead a team effectively Knowledge of materials such as G1, bitumen, and asphalt Understanding of slushing, priming, and paving techniques Strong communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Own Diesel bakkie would be highly beneficial Duties will include but are not limited to : Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site Execute and oversee G1 base layer preparation , slushing , priming , and asphalt (aswal) application Ensure correct installation of kerbstones and proper compaction of layers Interpret and work according to construction plans and technical drawings Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to construction standards Liaise with site managers and engineers regarding project progress and issues Keep records of daily work progress and labor activities Used dumpy level to measure and mark ground levels for construction projects.
