Introduction

A vacancy exists for a Trauma Qualified Registered Nurse at Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will report to the Unit Manager, Alma Kruger, and will contribute to the effective functioning and coordination of the Emergency Unit, ensuring quality nursing care for all patients.

Critical Outputs
  • Conduct basic Emergency Unit duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.
  • Ensure objective communication between all departments, patients, members of the public, and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain excellent patient and customer care in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures of the hospital and Life Healthcare.
  • Maintain all health, safety, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Valid SANC registration.
  • Willingness to fulfill a role in the unit according to the flexi hours system, including night and day shifts.
  • Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges, and role players.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a continuously changing environment.
  • Competent shift leadership with attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under urgent or difficult circumstances as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical abilities.
