RMC Manager

Job Description:

A Company that manufactures construction materials is seeking an RMC Manager to oversee operations. This hands-on leadership role involves managing production, staff, fleet, and customer service — ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 7:00 to 17:00, and Fridays until 15:00

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily production.
2. Lead a team of 50+ staff, including drivers, plant operators, and yard personnel.
3. Manage fleet scheduling, delivery logistics, and customer communication.
4. Enforce health & safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards.
5. Maintain high levels of productivity, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in concrete production, construction, or plant operations.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills.
3. Excellent communication in English and Afrikaans.
4. Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure.
5. Health & safety knowledge essential | Own transport required.
