Placements24 seeks an experienced Risk Manager to join a fully remote leadership team. You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization, guiding strategic decisions and fostering a risk-aware culture in a virtual environment from anywhere, potentially based in Nelspruit.

You will lead the ERM program, design mitigations, and report risk exposures to senior management and the board, while delivering training across departments in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the insurance sector.
• In-depth knowledge of ERM frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for remote leadership.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
