Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance and operational risks across the business.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Prepare and present detailed risk reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective actions are taken where non-compliance is identified.
  • Collaborate with different departments to foster a culture of risk awareness and ethical behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a risk and compliance role, preferably within a corporate or financial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, King IV, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and report-writing abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
