Hello Group is seeking to appoint a dedicated Risk and Compliance Manager to enhance our ability to manage and mitigate risks effectively.
This critical role will focus on risk assessment, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, operational resilience, and overall risk management strategies.
The Risk and Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Hello Pay, as a merchant services provider subject to SARB audits, operates within all regulatory and operational risk frameworks.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least 6-8 years in either a bank or Fintech company. At least 6-8 years of experience in a supervisory compliance / risk management role. Proven track record of managing risk frameworks and regulatory compliance in South Africa. Approval of qualifications / experience to be received from the Financial Services Conduct Authority as a FAIS registered compliance officer.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent knowledge of local and international regulatory frameworks. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders. High ethical standards and integrity.
