Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant

The Risk and Compliance Functional Consultant is responsible for configuring and testing risk management applications, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, writing functional and test specifications, and developing training and testing materials.
The consultant will also provide user support for 3rd level incidents, resolve business as usual issues aligned to operations and service processes, and design and implement solutions based on business requirements originating from change requests and/or projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the OPUS platform.
- Ensure data integrity and security within OPUS.
- Implement updates and improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Design and build workflows and checklists tailored to business needs.
- Map out data flows and integration points within the workflows.
- Ensure the workflows align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Manage and maintain data within the OPUS platform.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across workflows and checklists.
- Develop data management policies and procedures.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement and maintain API integrations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API issues and data flow problems.
- Ensure data integrity and security in API transactions.
- Collaborate with SAP and OPUS teams to ensure data alignment and integration.
- Monitor and maintain the data flow between SAP HR / ECM and OPUS.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing data structures and integration.
- Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures and protocols.
- Document issues, solutions, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to users on troubleshooting methods.
- Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and scoping activities.
- Make recommendations to optimize processes, policies, and procedures.
- Identify suitable solutions to new and existing business requirements and ensure effective resolution of problems and incidents.
- Stay updated with the latest features and industry trends.
Experience:
- Proficiency in OPUS platform.
- Experience in system administration and management.
- Experience in business analysis and workflow design.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in API integration and management.
- Experience in SAP data management and integration.
- Knowledge of development concepts.
- Knowledge and application of relevant IT best practices.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL 3).
- Knowledge of Project & Program management including methods and tools.
- Knowledge of SAP HR and ECM modules and their data structures (advantageous).
- Knowledge of API concepts and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.).

Qualifications:
- 3 years IT related degree (advantageous).
- Certified in TOGAF, Agile Methodologies (advantageous).
- Certified in COBIT, Prince II (advantageous).
- Certified in ITIL 3 (required).
