Placements24 is seeking an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver for Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on long-haul bulk transport of coal, fertilizer, or raw industrial products, with emphasis on safety, load security, and punctuality.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, plan routes, and communicate with dispatch while upholding company policies. A Code 14 EC license with PrDP, 7+ years bulk transport experience, and strong knowledge of road networks are

Qualifications

• Code 14 EC driver's license with PrDP.
• 7+ years of proven HGV bulk transport experience.
• Experience driving large articulated trucks.
• Excellent driving record with safety focus.
• Proficiency with ELDs and GPS navigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGVs safely for bulk transport within KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document defects.
• Ensure cargo secure loading and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain logs of hours, mileage, and fuel.
• Plan routes for timely deliveries and communicate with dispatch.
