Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organisation business goals.
  • Manage IT projects using the PRINCE II framework or other approved methodologies.
  • Ensure alignment with organisational priorities and delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Develop and manage annual IT operational plans.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT-related policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and IT standards.
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain IT systems and services.
  • Oversee the organisation's technology infrastructure, including networks, security, and software.
  • Manage third-party IT vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor and enforce service level agreements to ensure value for money and performance delivery.
  • Participate in budget formulation and manage departmental expenses.
  • Ensure proper asset management and cost control.
  • Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring performance alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and performance management within the IT department.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure partner expectations are managed and exceeded.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks.
  • Ensure robust fraud controls, governance, and compliance frameworks are in place.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Management.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in an IT environment.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Adaptability and change management.
