Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organisation business goals.
- Manage IT projects using the PRINCE II framework or other approved methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with organisational priorities and delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Develop and manage annual IT operational plans.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and IT standards.
- Plan, deploy, and maintain IT systems and services.
- Oversee the organisation's technology infrastructure, including networks, security, and software.
- Manage third-party IT vendors and service providers.
- Monitor and enforce service level agreements to ensure value for money and performance delivery.
- Participate in budget formulation and manage departmental expenses.
- Ensure proper asset management and cost control.
- Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring performance alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and performance management within the IT department.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure partner expectations are managed and exceeded.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks.
- Ensure robust fraud controls, governance, and compliance frameworks are in place.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Management.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in an IT environment.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Stakeholder engagement and influence.
- Adaptability and change management.
