A local engineering consultancy in Springbok is looking for an experienced draughtsman to join their multi-disciplinary team. The role involves advanced modelling and draughting using Autodesk REVIT and requires 5-10 years of practical experience in civil engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years relevant practical experience in a design office or consulting firm.
• Medically fit and prepared to work on construction sites.
• Valid driver's license required.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Form part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Modelling and draughting using Autodesk REVIT.
• Production of detailed civil-, structural-, architectural-, and mechanical- engineering design drawings at an advanced level.

Key Requirements

• Draughting Diploma / Certificate or relevant qualification
• Minimum 5-10 years relevant practical experience in a design office / consulting firm environment in civil engineering infrastructure (earthworks, municipal services and bulk systems)
• Advanced computer and software skills with the following computer software programs :
• Autodesk Revit ( Essential )
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D ( Advantageous )
• Model Maker Systems ( Advantageous )
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player, but also able to work independently and to meet deadlines
• Valid drivers license
• Medically fit and prepared to work on construction sites as may be required
• To be based or willing to relocate to Springbok
