Title: Revenue and Sales Operations Manager

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Within South Africa)

Must be available to work USA East Coast hours until at least 2pm / 9pm EST daily.

Reporting To: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) / Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Role Overview: The Revenue Operations Manager plays a crucial role in managing our CRM systems supporting revenue intelligence and sales operations for both new business (hunting) and existing account management (farming) teams.

The US sales team comprises approximately 25 members.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who can drive efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance revenue growth strategies.

This individual will manage sales forecasting, pipeline analyses, compensation planning including commission reporting, and deliver data-driven insights to optimize revenue operations and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • CRM Management: Own and optimize Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar CRM platforms to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability. Develop and enforce CRM best practices, sales enablement tools, and automation strategies. Support sales teams with training and adoption of tools like Outreach, SalesLoft, Clari, and Gong.
  • Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Lead data-driven sales forecasting, improve revenue predictability, perform pipeline analysis, and identify risks and opportunities. Implement processes to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Compensation Planning & Reporting: Design, manage, and refine sales commission structures and incentive plans. Ensure accurate and transparent commission reporting. Analyze sales metrics including CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and churn.
  • Sales & Revenue Analytics & Leadership Support: Build dashboards and reports to support revenue teams and leadership. Provide insights into sales effectiveness, deal velocity, revenue trends, and operational efficiency. Serve as an operational advisor to senior leadership.

Work collaboratively across departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and People to align revenue operations with business goals and GTM strategy. Lead change management initiatives and influence stakeholders.

  • Enhance sales forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility.
  • Streamline sales processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Improve sales reporting quality and analytics capabilities.
  • Optimize compensation structures to motivate sales performance.
Required Skills and Proficiencies
  • Based in South Africa with the ability to work until 2:00 pm EST.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics), Excel, and analytical tools (Power BI or similar).
  • Advanced analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, and pipeline analytics experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong business acumen, familiarity with SaaS metrics, deal structuring, and revenue forecasting.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience in Technology, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, or SaaS industries.
  • Knowledge of recurring revenue models and SQL skills.
  • Experience with CRM and analytics platform administration and revenue operations methodologies.
  • Adaptable, proactive, strategic, and growth-oriented mindset.
