This position is responsible for determining the appropriate pricing and value of the company's products and services by ensuring accurate and complete pricing in ERP, combined with analyzing market trends and performing data and statistical analysis, ensuring delivery of revenue and product portfolio aligned with business plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
Pricing: (Automotive and Industrial)
Audit and compliance confirmation of pricing execution
Development of the pricing strategy and clear policy across the divisions in Automotive and Industrial
Pursuit of continuous improvement across the pricing discipline through simplification, standardization, elimination, and automation
Provide margin and profitability assurance to sales teams regarding offers/tenders
Work closely with Procurement or other departments in determining costs and related markups
Develop automation tools
Conduct adhoc to weekly to monthly reporting on pricing execution and related margin maintenance
Collaborate with Sales Managers and Area Sales Representatives to create pricing proposals
Follow market feedback/market share information from customers and field force and propose pricing actions accordingly
Create tactical pricing deals
Ensure all prices for customers are properly maintained in JDE
Work closely with Sales in managing rebates and net customer margins
Ensure all pricing cut-off dates are tracked carefully and executed expediently
Work closely with IT to ensure correct pricing in the system
Update as and when required and ensure adherence to pricing policy
Product: (Automotive)
Manage the Automotive Product catalogue, working with various stakeholders to maintain data integrity
Collaborate towards a value-driven product portfolio, balancing demand and supply
Identify market gaps and opportunities for product development, creating the business proposal to drive such introductions
Product management – manage Product life cycle across multiple parties
Size opportunities quickly and provide recommendations for accelerating delivery
Work together with Technical, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure alignment towards and delivery of business opportunities
Education & Experience
Experience with Robotic Process Automation or other automation tools
Working experience with JDE / Oracle
Ongoing analysis of the competitive environment and industry trends
Business Case development for strategic campaigns
Database analysis to identify new opportunities and solutions
Experience in Marketing or Product Management
Ability to think both strategically and analytically to identify and assess new opportunities
