Revenue Accountant (TG13)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
• Chartered Accountant registered with SAICA
• Three (3) years of experience serving SAICA Articles

Key Performance / Main Activities of this Role

1. Oversee and reconcile all events invoiced accurately and completed on the system
2. Manage administration ensuring all invoiced events are supported by complete, valid, and accurate supporting documentation
3. Conduct verification to ensure complete and accurate reconciliation of all invoiced events
4. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements
5. Monitor revenue collection compliance in line with policies and procedures
6. Manage and monitor debtors collections
7. Circulate the debt age analysis schedule to senior management monthly
8. Ensure revenue streams (POS, Parking, tenants) are completely and accurately recorded each month
9. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
10. Analyze and interpret financial data and prepare revenue budget projections during the annual mid-term review
11. Perform variance analysis to monitor financial performance
12. Undertake monthly reconciliations of all bank and cash accounts, including the cash book
