We are looking for
  • A proactive Returns Technician to handle the processing, evaluation, and documentation of returned products. If you’re detail-oriented, technically savvy, and enjoy solving problems, this role is for you!
Knowledge and abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with inventory systems
  • Basic understanding of warehouse / logistics operations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative in resolving return-related issues
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and verify returned goods against invoices and goods return notes
  • Inspect and test products to determine faults and decide on repairs, replacements, or credits
  • Diagnose issues, repair products where spares are available, or strip for parts if beyond repair
  • Process accurate credit notes and handle related customer queries
  • Maintain detailed records and submit regular return reports
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding technical issues
  • Support quality control, identify product trends, and flag recurring issues
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Matric
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (returns or tech support)
  • Computer literate
  • Must have electrical product experience
  • Ability to solve technical problems
