Job description

Main Purpose

To ensure proper sorting, washing, and preparing (building) of packing for production on a daily basis.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily sorting and cleaning (wash) of all returnable packing.
• Ensuring all labels and foreign objects are removed from packaging before issued to production.
• Visual quality checks for damages on all packaging.
• Utilise diverse packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, etc.).
• Utilise diverse tools/equipment such as pressure cleaner and heat gun.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and following health and safety instructions.
• Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
• Ensure ongoing awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, and Health and Safety Management.
• Ensure housekeeping and general areas facilitate a tidy, neat environment.
• Be able to perform other AD-HOC duties as and when required.
