Marketing Consultant Job Description

An international company in the exhibition / trade show environment requires a dynamic Marketing Consultant to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Input into Strategy Formulation: Coordinating the development of strategies for all S.E.
  2. Manage implementation and control of plans as per the directive of the PD.
  3. Research topics relevant to strategy development on these projects.
  4. Budgets: Responsible for administering approved marketing budgets, including exhibitions and corporate budgets.
  5. Determine marketing budget forecasts for each show.
  6. Ensure each show meets budget expenditure after finalization.
  7. Track invoicing and purchase orders related to this.
  8. Digital / Social Media / Website / Database Management: Responsible for researching and coordinating information for all digital and social media campaigns.
  9. Align traditional communication and branding tools with digital platforms.
  10. Stay updated with digital and social media trends and implement best practices.
  11. Manage and update data sources across the business.
  12. Coordinate services of digital service providers such as website developers, search engines, chat factories, PR suppliers, etc.
  13. Exhibitor Promotion of All Shows: Trade advertising, direct marketing, and sales support, including briefing agencies and implementing promotional programs.
  14. Public Relations: Develop and monitor relationships with trade journals and associations relevant to each exhibition.
  15. Delivery and coordination of all show briefings, including presentations to exhibitors.
  16. Visitor Promotion of All Shows: Manage advertising campaigns and publicity campaigns, including media relationships.
  17. Coordinate research requirements for feedback on shows and business development projects.
  18. Manage activities of Advertising and Communications agencies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Degree / Diploma in Marketing / Advertising or related disciplines.
  • Own car.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
