Job Title: Retention Advisor - Accounting & Payroll

Job Description: At Sage, our Retention Advisors manage contract renewals within our existing customer base. This hybrid role requires working on-site three days a week. Your role impacts our bottom line by driving customer retention, facilitating migrations, and exceeding renewal and migration revenue targets. Success depends on collaboration across teams and with customers and partners.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of outbound sales experience, preferably in a call centre or customer-facing role within the software sector. Proven sales target achievement and proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce are essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers daily via phone to promote value selling and meet revenue targets.
  • Implement sales campaigns to increase retention.
  • Maintain productivity targets including outbound and inbound calls.

Training & Development:

  • Initial training on our products/services, with ongoing workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Work onsite daily initially, with potential to transition to 3 days a week based on performance, with Monday to Wednesday being mandatory.

Team & Reporting:

  • Work within a team of 6 Retention Advisors, collaborating across departments.
  • Report to a Sales Retentions Manager with a successful growth track record.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar sales role, with a proven record of meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Experience in B2B sales, knowledge of Software Sales, and understanding of customer needs and Sage products.
