Job summary

Dermalogica South Africa is seeking a driven retailer to drive sales and act as a brand ambassador for the world’s leading skincare brand. You will engage customers, convert them into Dermalogica devotees, and support store activities.

The role requires confident professionals who can conduct detailed consultations, maintain records in the POS, and follow up with customers after sales or treatments. Evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years retail experience, preferably skincare.
• Availability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong sales track record and ability to engage customers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly targets and monitor daily goals achieved.
• Conduct detailed consultations and Face Mapping, update records in the POS.
• Assist consumers with retail and follow up post-sale via phone or email.
• Participate in store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, and promotions.
• Maintain the treatment area and stock shelves, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

We are looking for confident professionals who are happy to engage with customers, converting them to be a Dermalogica devotee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of monthly targets and keep abreast of daily goals and targets achieved.
• To ensure that accurate and detailed consultations and Face Mapping is conducted with each new client and ensure all records are updated after every visit on the POS system.
• Assist consumers with retail and follow up with consumers telephonically/via email post product sales and treatments regarding their results of treatment and/or products used.
• Be available for all relevant store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, unpacking orders, sales promotions.
• Maintain the treatment area (and other work areas) in a professional manner including stocking shelves, cleaning all the areas including the skin bar and product pool, and replenishing product.

Do you have the below skills?

• Minimum 2 - 3 years retail experience preferably in skincare
• Be able to work retail hours including evenings & weekends
• Have a passion for retailing and a sales track record
• Be confident in engaging with customers
• Self-motivated
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
