Job summary

Dermalogica South Africa is seeking a driven retailer to promote the world’s leading skincare brand and act as a brand ambassador in-store. You will engage customers, drive sales, and participate in store activities to meet objectives.

The role requires 2–3 years of skincare retail experience, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a sales-focused mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus; you will maintain consultations and POS records with customers.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years retail experience, preferably skincare.
• Willing to work retail hours including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for retailing with a proven sales track record.
• Confident in engaging with customers.
• Self-motivated with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly targets and monitor daily goals.
• Ensure detailed consultations and Face Mapping; update POS records after each visit.
• Assist consumers with retail and follow up post purchase via phone/email.
• Be available for store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, promotions.
• Maintain the treatment area and stock shelves; clean and replenish product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of monthly targets and keep abreast of daily goals and targets achieved.
• To ensure that accurate and detailed consultations and Face Mapping is conducted with each new client and ensure all records are updated after every visit on the POS system.
• Assist consumers with retail and follow up with consumers telephonically/via email post product sales and treatments regarding their results of treatment and/or products used.
• Be available for all relevant store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, unpacking orders, sales promotions.
• Maintain the treatment area (and other work areas) in a professional manner including stocking shelves, cleaning all the areas including the skin bar and product pool, and replenishing product.
