Retail Store Manager

Our client, one of South Africa's leading liquor retailers, is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to oversee and manage their retail store in East London!

Requirements:

1. Matric
2. Valid Driver's License with your own transport
3. 5 years senior retail management experience in the food/liquor industry is required
4. MS Office literate

Must be willing to work retail hours

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for opening and closing the store
2. Training, development, and management of staff (x35)
3. Dealing and negotiating with suppliers
4. Monthly stock takes
5. Overseeing the merchandising of the store
6. Ensure excellent customer service
7. Completion of weekly/monthly store administration
8. Monthly reporting to the Directors
9. Grow market share
10. Sales/business development
11. Achieving monthly store sales targets
