Retail Store Manager required in Meyerton, Gauteng.

Are you a dynamic and motivated retail professional with a passion for people and performance? We’re seeking experienced Retail Store Managers to lead our client’s teams in Meyerton.

As a Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your store’s success—driving sales, leading a diverse team, and creating an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be the face of the store, working closely with store owners while managing daily operations, staff development, stock control, and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate would be willing to work retail hours and a background in stationery, arts & crafts or book retail would be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in retail and management
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Willingness and ability to work retail hours
• Background in stationery, arts & crafts, or book retail will be beneficial

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily store operations
• Managing, training, and disciplining staff
• Maintaining stock levels and controlling shrinkage
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring compliance with operational standards, company policies, and legislation
• Coordinating promotions and marketing campaigns
• Maintaining accurate store administration
• Upholding store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
