A leading national brand in the automotive and energy solutions sector is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee its retail store's daily operations and profitability based in Empangeni. This well-established organisation thrives on delivering customer excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth through teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic store operations to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Monitor and maintain merchandise availability, pricing policies, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal controls.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, contracts, and financial reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Lead and manage staff performance, training, and development.
  • Oversee the implementation of security measures and risk management.
  • Promote cost-efficiency and contribute to the stores budget planning and expenditure control.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Minimum Education: Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Preferred: Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years experience in retail sales and/or marketing.
    • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Skills:
    • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written).
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and organisational abilities.
