Retail Store Manager

Position: Store Manager

Salary: R9K to 15K per month depending on experience

Location: Africa Mall - Midrand (Johannesburg)

Overview: The ideal candidate will manage the daily operations of the retail store and complete tasks related to inventory tracking, marketing, and customer service. They should be a confident salesperson and share best practices to onboard new employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily operations of the business and ensure sales goals are met.
2. Direct employees in daily operations such as serving customers, inventory taking, reconciling cash, and managing in-store marketing.
3. Conduct hiring and onboarding of new employees.
4. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
5. Track and manage inventory at the store.

Requirements:

1. 3 - 5 years of retail and retail management experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson.
3. Strong customer service, management, and communication skills.
4. Matric or Equivalent is a requirement.
5. A proficiency in MS Office.
6. A willingness and temperament to work with children of all ages.
