Placements24 is seeking a friendly Retail Store Associate for our Mahikeng store, where you will help customers, process sales, and ensure a well-presented, welcoming shopping environment.

You will work with a supportive team, operate the POS system, stock shelves, and learn product knowledge to deliver a positive shopping experience and opportunities to grow within retail. Previous experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is advantageous but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills; comfortable using POS systems.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to store procedures and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide helpful product information and recommendations.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Assist with maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock on the sales floor and assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.
