Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Receiving Clerk at Greenfields Store in the Eastern Cape region. You will ensure efficient stock receiving, packing, and accurate documentation in line with Dis-Chem SOPs, supporting excellent customer service in the store.

The role requires Grade 12, computer literacy, and strong numerical skills, with willingness to work retail hours. Prior receiving/retail/FMCG experience is advantageous. Medical aid and provident fund are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Sound numerical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately verify, scan and capture goods received for the store.
• Receive all warehouse goods and invoices per policy.
• Return unordered or damaged goods and complete credit notes.
• Verify deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
• Ensure goods delivered match invoiced quantities and condition.
• Assist Receiving Manager with warehouse claims logging.
• Maintain stock flow from receiving to floor.
• Process returns to suppliers according to SOPs.
• Maintain orderly storerooms and control high‑risk stock.
