About The Organisation And The Role

A boutique, specialist retailer in the wellness sector, with 3 stores across Cape Town (Southern and Northern suburbs), is looking for a dynamic, open-minded Sales Assistant with excellent interpersonal skills, to join their team in the Claremont store.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer service
• Assisting customer in a friendly and informative manner
• Answering the phone and taking messages.
• Stock control and merchandising
• Ensuring the shelves are stocked with merchandise.
• Ensure the shop floor and fridges are clean and neat,
• Receiving orders
• Counting stock
• Packaging stock
• Filling all online and App orders and arranging courier pick-ups
• Placing orders for specified items from Plumstead branch.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

Acting as the face and voice of the organisation, the ideal applicant will have the following competencies:

• Work experience and industry exposure
• Previous retail experience, desirable
• Customer-facing service experience is a distinct advantage.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate well with a wide variety of audiences
• Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people from all ages and stages of life
