Job description

JOB PURPOSE Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
2. Completes sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc., as needed.
3. Involved indirectly with ticketing of products and checking paperwork against received items.
4. Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
5. Ensures that company assets and stock are secured at all times to prevent shrinkage.
6. Assists in developing merchandise displays or follows suggestions provided by the store management team.
7. Attains proficiency with the point of sale system and maintains system utilization skills, ensuring policy and procedure adherence.
8. Uses selling techniques such as add-on sales and explaining technical information to enhance sales and meet store and individual sales goals.
9. Greets customers and assists them in finding products; occasionally serves as a greeter at the front door during busy times.
10. Maintains general housekeeping standards.
11. Safeguards company assets.
