A distinguished high-end retailer is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Retail Sales Administrator to join their team at the Fourways store. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a retail environment, enjoys engaging with customers, and possesses excellent administrative skills. The ideal candidate will bring retail sales and invoicing experience and will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, assist with inquiries, and guide them through purchasing decisions.
Generate and close sales efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Administration and Invoicing:
Manage sales transactions and ensure accurate invoicing processes.
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to support store operations, including documentation, filing, and data management.
Maintain organized records for all sales and administrative activities.
Social Media Management:
Manage the store’s Facebook and other social media accounts, engaging with the online community and sharing relevant content.
Collaborate with management to enhance the store’s online presence, promoting products and special events.
Product Knowledge and Display:
Maintain a thorough understanding of products and stay informed on new arrivals to effectively assist customers.
Support merchandising efforts, ensuring displays are attractive, organized, and reflective of the brand’s standards.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in sales and administration within a professional retail setting.
Proven background in retail invoicing and transaction management.
Experience managing social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram etc, with the ability to create engaging content and monitor customer engagement.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; graphic design skills are a plus.
Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
Well-spoken, presentable, and reliable, with a professional demeanor.
Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
Must possess a personal vehicle and live within a convenient driving distance from Fourways due to retail hours
Availability:
Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
1st Week: Saturday and Sunday off
2nd Week: Friday off, working Saturday and Sunday
Additional overtime pay for public holidays.
Store Trading Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
